When Sierra Canyon met Campbell Hall back on January 20, the epic game led to an 80-77 overtime win for SC. Much to Campbell’s credit, the unranked team hung in there, but eventually, the Trailblazers, ranked 13th by DigitalSports, walked away with the victory.
Almost a polar opposite to the first meeting, Sierra Canyon dominated from the very start and never let up. Backed by nine first quarter points from Devearl Ramsey, the Trailblazers jumped out to an early 26-9 lead.
From there, Sierra Canyon continued its scoring rampage, all the while holding off any threat from the Vikings to take a commanding 70-44 victory in the game.
Ramsey led all scorers with 17 points, followed by Adam Seiko’s 14 points for SC. Cody Riley, who scored six in that first quarter scoring spree, finished with 12 points on the night.
Now 20-3 and 9-0 within the league, Sierra Canyon continues to prove that it is one of California’s top basketball programs.
After a day’s rest, the Trailblazers get right back on the court to face Windward, a team they defeated by 11 points just last week, in the season finale. A win would be the perfect ending to the regular season, as it would complete Sierra Canyon’s undefeated record within the league.
